Ronda Smith is our receptionist. Her smiling, friendly face you will greet you at the front desk of Southeast Georgia Veterinary Clinic. A life-long resident of Brunswick, Ronda is married with a son, daughter, granddaughter, and two dogs - Bella and Dumpling. Her heart reaches out to every pet that comes through the door.
Karen Slobecheski joined Southeast Georgia Veterinary Clinic in 2012 and is in charge of our Pawed Dog Hotel and Day Getaway boarding facility. She will also be the primary person to contact you for test results, such as blood work and urinalysis, and for scheduled appointment reminders and follow-up calls. The Elizabeth, New Jersey, native moved to Georgia in 1995. She is the owner of 1 dog, Mr. Lucky Peanut and 6 cats, Yoda, Sweetheart, Riley, Raven, Ruby, and Stormy.
Amanda Owens is a native of Moorehead City, North Carolina, and currently resides in McIntosh County. She joined the Southeast Georgia Veterinary Clinic in 2005 while attending school, graduating in 2009 with a degree in Biology. She is very happy to be working in the veterinary field as a Veterinary Assistant. She is married to Daniel and is a new, first-time mom to baby girl Kinsley. She’s also the proud owner of two dogs, Cesar, Sadie and one cat Gilbert.
Taylor Gordy began working at Southeast Georgia Veterinary Clinic while in high school, and continues now that she is a student at College of Coastal Georgia. As a Veterinary Assistant, she helps to check in patients at the clinic. She loves working with animals, and has two dogs of her own – Gracie, a lab, and a chihuahua named Pippy. She is a joy to be around.
Kristi Underwood is a great help to all who need it here at Southeast Georgia Veterinary Clinic. She helps out at the front desk as well as working as a Veterinary Assistant. She has a love for all types of puppy dogs large and small. She lives with her husband, her Yorkie named Scooter, and Little Girl, a pit mix she helped rescue.
Donna Drury works as a Surgery Assistant at Southeast Georgia Veterinary Clinic. She will be with your pet, assisting our surgeons, from start to finish. Donna once ran her own pet grooming and boarding business, and brings that valuable experience to our team. She is a resident of Wayne County, where she and her husband raised two now college-age children. Her animal family includes two dogs, B.J. and Macy, horses, goats, and a peacock.
Ashley Davison brings many years’ experience in a hospital and emergency environment to Southeast Georgia Veterinary Clinic. She was the main supervisor of a kennel in a clinic in Savannah; she will help put you and your pet at ease when you visit our mobile unit on the weekends. She has three pups, Kimber a boxer, and Fender a beagle.
Jordan is currently enrolled at Georgia Southern for Veterinary Medicine. He is the proud owner of one bulldog, Baleigh, a German Shorthair Pointer, Knox, and a lab, Remi. When Jordan isn't busy with schoolwork, he enjoys spending time with his girlfriend and his horses.
Gabby Staley is one of our groomers. She is married to her husband Mike and they have one dog, George the yellow lab. She was a Navy brat who was born in Charleston, SC and raised in Jacksonville, Fl. In her free time she likes to paint and cross stitch. She has been with us since December of 2015.
Brittany has been grooming for 10 years. She is married and has a fur-baby named Mabel, a pit mix. In her spare time she likes to practice photography, go fishing, and loves to read. She is the newest member of our grooming team.
She is part of our weekend kennel staff. You will see her friendly face when you check your pet in to our hotel. She is a high school student currently enrolled in both high school and college courses who would like to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. Her pets include Scooter Bell, her yorkie, and Bubba Lou her tuxedo cat.
